DAISY CLOUGH NURSERIES GIFT SHOP AND TEA ROOM – (35 minutes drive from Meadow Cottage)

A particular favourite of ours – well worth a drive for breakfast, brunch or afternoon tea and combine with a great gift shop and fantastic plant nursery

Jo and Pete opened Daisy Clough Nursery in 2013, with Jo being fully trained in horticulture and garden design and both from farming backgrounds; the couples experience has been key while developing the sites potential.

With an array of greenhouses, beautiful orchard and natural river running past the Nursery, Shop and Tearoom; Daisy Clough has so much to offer and has grown to incorporate it’s surroundings perfectly.

TEA ROOM & CAFE

“With views over the picturesque riverbank from a calming sheltered garden, Daisy Clough’s vision for their tearoom has been brought to life in the most enchanting way. A natural décor has been created with reclaimed, up cycled furniture, offering an industrial feel with a garden twist!

Tucked away in the tranquil orchard of heritage apple trees, enjoy afternoon tea or a bite to eat, listening to the tranquil river meander through the countryside with ducks, otters, kingfishers and sheep, all adding to the landscape that includes views of Nicky Nook.

The bright and airy tearoom is brimming with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere making it the perfect place to unwind with friends and family.

Everyone’s welcome in The Tearoom; cyclists and their bikes, walking groups and muddy boots and walkers with their four legged friends, who’ll get a treat if they wipe their feet!

We are open 7 days a week with homegrown and homemade dishes that you’ll keep coming back for! “
