Each room at The Mooring Post has a flat-screen TV, safe, hairdryer and teacoffee making facilities. Most have a bath with shower above and are fully supplied with luxury toiletries. The Twin Room has a walk-in shower.
The accommodation is adjacent to The Lock Keepers restaurant, which provides comforting, traditional British food with a contemporary twist. Menus include everything from beautifully seared steaks and sandwiches to light bites, lunches, brunches, burgers and puddings.
The village of Over is less than 1 mile from the centre of Gloucester, with the attractive spa town of Cheltenham less than 10 miles away. Popular Cotswolds towns are as little as 35 minutes away, and you can reach the Forest of Dean in 20 minutes.
The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 10:00.
Please be aware the property in unmanned from 6pm Sunday, and on Mondays.
The restaurant is also closed Sunday evening and Monday so no food or breakfast is available.
Access to the accommodation is always possible via key code, this will be emailed to you prior to arrival if you are arriving after 5pm on Sundays, or on a Monday.
