This 17th century, luxury, boutique hotel is the only 4-star hotel in the centre of Lancaster, and is superbly situated in the heart of the city centre.
The hotel was originally built in the 17th century and is the oldest barhotel still operating in Lancaster. With luxurious rooms and comfortable furnishings, the hotel is an ideal base for an upmarket stay in the city.
The hotel is situated in the very centre of Lancaster, within yards of the castle andthe citys other attractions. St Martin’s College (University of Cumbria) and Lancaster University are both an easy commute from the hotel. The hotel regularly welcomes many visiting academics from both institutes.
The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.
Due to the architectural nature of the building, there is no lift access to rooms. Staff are happy to help carry luggage.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. Suite. Large Georgian drawing room converteda stylish suite. Includes cast iron stand-alone bath, en-suite bathroom and a super king-size bed. A sitting area with 2 flat-screen TVs, free WiFi and a Nespresso machine are also provided. ;
Small Double Room. A compact double room with large double bed, free WiFi and an en-suite bathroom. ;
