The Oxenham Arms Hotel Devon - South Zeal

Built around the famous South Zeal Menhir Standing Stone, this 12th-century manor house isin its own 4-acre monastery gardens in a pretty Devonshire village. A granite Tudor porch leads to a 536-year-old bar with a roaring log fire, and there is free WiFi and free parking on site.

The room is accessed via 2 ancient stone steps and an old oak doorway. It also includes a TV with a DVD player, hairdryer, and tea and coffee making facilities with water and biscuits. Superior Double Room with Four Poster Bed. With a hand-carved oak super king-size four-poster bed, this light and airy room has views over the village. It is situated in the old manor house and has a modern en suite bathroom. Double Room with Four Poster Bed. With a character open four-poster super king-size bed, this room was once occupied by Charles Dickens. Situated in the old manor house, it overlooks the village. With antique furniture, the room has a TV with a DVD player, a large built-in wardrobe, and tea and coffee making facilities, water, and biscuits. Originally the master bedroom for the manor house and uniquely located above the prehistoric standing stone, this imposing room boasts a super king-size bed which can also be 2 single 3 beds and antique furniture. With a beamed ceiling, two armchairs, and controlled lighting, the room has a stone fireplace and stone walls. It offers a modern shower room, a TV with a DVD player, and teacoffee making facilities. With a king-size Victorian oak open four-poster bed and ancient stone walls, this room is located in the original manor house, with views over the village of South Zeal.
